Storm and Flood Assistance
Six remote area firefighters from the ACT Rural Fire Service Parks Brigade will be sent interstate tomorrow to assist in controlling a blaze in the Wadbilliga National Park.
The group, all members of the Remote Area Fire Team (RAFT), will drive to Braidwood and be flown from Krawaree Helipad to the site which is north of Bemboka.
The New South Wales Rural Fire Service officially requested assistance today.
The deployment is to last three days.
