The Bureau of Meteorology has now cancelled the DETAILED Severe Thunderstorm Warning for the ACT however a warning is still in place for the ACT for possible damaging winds, heavy rainfall and large hail tonight.
The ACT State Emergency Service (ACTSES) has received a total of six calls for help since 5.30pm today.
ACTSES and ACT Fire & Rescue are responding to damaged trees and branches with minor damage reported.
Residents can call the ACT SES on 132 500 for storm or flood assistance.
