ACT Fire & Rescue has extinguished a fire in a house at Bonython.
Three fire units and a commander responded to the property in Kneebone Street after being alerted at 3:05pm.
Firefighters arrived to find fire burning in the roof void which was quickly extinguished.
Crews are now searching to rest of the home to ensure the fire hasn't spread elsewhere.
Firefighters have been told the fire started after a lighting strike struck the roof of the home.
