11 calls for help following windy weather

The ACT State Emergency Service (ACTSES) has today received 11 calls for help since 1am following the windy weather.

ACTSES volunteers and ACT Fire & Rescue have responded to mostly trees and branches across roads and pathways across a widespread area of the ACT.

Two calls for help have been related to damaged residential roofs.

Minor damage has been reported.

Residents who require storm or flood assistance can call the ACTSES on 132 500.
