Firefighters have extinguished a small fire on the ground floor of a Kambah home on Horton Street.
ACT Fire & Rescue were called to the incident at 4:50pm. The homeowners were evacuated with no injuries.
Ventilation operations are being conducted with significant smoke damage throughout the two storey property.
Three pumpers, a Breathing Apparatus Van and a commander are at the scene.
The cause of the fire is being investigated.
