ACT Fire & Rescue are attending a suspected building fire in Acton.
Crews were alerted to the incident on North Science Road at 8.45am and arrived on the scene a short time later with three fire pumpers, a hazmat unit and the Bronto.
A worker in the building noticed smoke coming from the basement elevator and raised the alarm. Fire fighters are investigating.
