Update - Major gas pipeline ruptured in Richardson

Gas pipeline contractors are on scene working to contain then shut off the leak.

ACT Fire & Rescue HAZMAT crew is now on scene conducting atmospheric monitoring in the area where the repair team is working.

ACT Policing is also on scene managing traffic.

It's expected fire crews will remain on scene for several hours at this stage.
