Grass fire extinguished in Narrabundah

Firefighters have extinguished two small grass fires at Boomanulla Oval in Narrabundah.

The two fires were ignited when power lines fell on a metal perimeter fence. Both were about 5m by 10m in size.

ACT Fire & Rescue was called to Goyder Street at about 9:40pm.

ACT Rural Fire Service crews also provided assistance.
