Update - House fire in Forrest

Fire in the multi-level home on Mugga Way has been extinguished.

It appears the fire started in the basement and spread to the roof.

The home is currently unoccupied.

A passing cyclist alerted ACT Fire & Rescue at 5:44am.

Fire investigation is underway. Road closures will remain in place for most of the day.
