ACT Fire & Rescue (ACTF&R), ACT Ambulance Service (ACTAS), ACT Policing and ACT Parks and Conservation Service are attending a motor vehicle incident at the Cotter, which they were alerted to at approximately 2pm this afternoon. A vehicle travelling over rough terrain went over a ledge and down a 20m drop. Two ACTF&R specialist remote road accident rescue vehicles undertook road accident rescue and vertical rescue strategies freeing a person from the vehicle. Rescuers are being supported by a pumper and a commander. Two patients were treated by ACTAS and are being transported to the Canberra Hospital.
