The ACT State Emergency Service has received nearly 70 requests for assistance following storm activity in the Canberra region this evening.
A severe weather warning remains in place. The community is asked to stay vigilant, storm activity is likely to continue for the next several hours and into Sunday.

Crews from the ACT State Emergency Service and ACT Fire & Rescue will be working into the evening to attend to jobs as quickly as possible.
