Storm and Flood Assistance
45 requests for help have been received by the ACT State Emergency Service (ACTSES). Calls have come from right across the ACT since 11:30pm, 3 March 2020.
The Bureau of Meteorology is predicting steady rainfall throughout the day and into the evening.
Volunteer crews from ACTSES as well as crews from ACT Fire & Rescue (ACTF&R) are working hard to get to all requests, we ask Canberrans to remain patient.
The ESA advises that due to the demand for help there may be a longer than usual wait time.
Residents who require assistance for storm or flood damage, or if your situation changes can call 132 500.
