ACT Fire & Rescue and ACT Ambulance Service were called to a house fire at Macvitie Place, Macquarie at approximately 7:30am this morning. Firefighters have extinguished the fire that destroyed a room on the top floor of a duplex home. Paramedics assessed one person and transported them to Calvary Hospital in a stable condition. The fire is under investigation.
