Storm and Flood Assistance
Two prescribed burns will be taking place this afternoon at the following locations:
- Woden Homestead, near the Monaro Highway, Hume.
- Riverview, near Naas road, Tharwa.
Smoke and flames may be visble in these areas while the burn is underway.
These burns are being managed by the ACT Rural Fire Service and are an important tool for managing our land and reducing fire risk.
Call Triple-Zero (000) if you see an unattended fire.
