In a life threatening emergency dial Triple Zero (000)
Storm and Flood Assistance
ACT Ambulance Service, ACT Fire & Rescue and SouthCare combined specialised skillsets this afternoon in a remote area rescue. Altogether 13 crew members attended to a mountain bike crash on Mt. Majura, working to stabilise a male patient. Windy conditions prevented the patient from being airlifted, resulting in crews walking him out on a stretcher through approximately 800 meters of steep terrain before transporting to hospital.
