ACT Fire & Rescue (ACTF&R) has extinguished the apartment fire on Berrigan Crescent, O’Connor.
One patient has been transported to hospital in a stable condition.
ACTF&R, ACT Ambulance Service and ACT Policing have left the scene.
Berrigan Crescent has now been reopened.
Firefighters were called to the scene after a resident in the complex heard a smoke alarm and called Triple Zero (000).
This is a good reminder to the community that working smoke alarms save lives.
ACT Fire & Rescue (ACTF&R), ACT Ambulance Service and ACT Policing are currently on scene at an apartment fire in Berrigan Crescent, O’Connor.
Berrigan Crescent is closed.
The community is asked to avoid the area.
